This enables Just Oak to be focused and committed on one product, giving us greater depth and knowledge of the product itself, and thus giving our customers a higher level of customer service and satisfaction.

We work in conjunction with our sister company, Jess Timber, a dedicated sawmill based in Romania, which has been trading since its inauguration in 1998. Since then, Jess Timber has supplied high quality timber of which a significant amount was supplied to the European Union for the reconstruction of houses after the Kosovo war. Since then, Jess Timber has now become the largest exporter of timber from Romania, attaining all of the top oak exportation awards.

As the French forests are no longer able to support the high demand for quality oak, we now source from only the best oak trees grown in Romania. We believe that the future of Oak is here as they grow two species of European Oak, the Quercus pendulnca and Quercus Petraea and are able to supply the best quantity and quality of both.

Production

Each individual tree is examined and cut in the most effective and efficient way to produce the maximum yield and highest quality wood. The wood is then dried in our computer run kiln, allowing us to reduce the moisture content in a controlled manor and thus reducing the risk of
cracking and warping.
